State parks officials cleared trees after the windstorm at Valley of the Rogue State Park. Four other parks remained closed.

Four Oregon state parks remained closed on Friday after heavy windstorms brought down trees and damaged facilities statewide.

For the most part, officials were able to clear the trees and the state’s “First Day” guided hikes on Sunday are expected to go forward.
