
Snow is impacting a wide collection of roadways across Oregon, from the mountains to the coast.
There are numerous slowdowns and icy roads, along with multiple closures on the coast on and near U.S. Highway 101.
The Portland Metro Area is in very bad shape with multiple roads and highways iced over and jammed with cars, making it not an ideal place to travel if possible.

“Expect ice, snow and downed trees in many areas,” ODOT said Thursday morning. “Where power is out, signals are four-way stops.”

Coast Range highways closed
U.S Highway 101 is delayed at the Oregon and Washington border, from milepost 0 to 3 in Astoria.
U.S. Highway 101 closed from milepost 96 to 105 near Neskowin and Lincoln City.Alsea Highway 34 remains closed by downed trees between milepost 5 east of Waldport and milepost 28.
Oregon Highway 20 between Corvallis and Newport has a long delay due to multiple trees down across the highway.
Oregon Highway 6 is closed at milepost 5, five miles east of Tillamook.
Oregon Highway 229 is closed from milepost 5 to 19, five miles south of the intersection with Oregon Coast Highway 101.
