Neighbors in the area did CPR

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A toddler was taken to a hospital Monday afternoon after responding to multiple doses of Narcan after having “a medical event,” authorities confirmed to KOIN 6 News.

The young girl is alive and conscious, Beaverton police said. Narcan brought her to consciousness and neighbors in the area did CPR.

Paramedics rushed to Hyland Way to treat the child, but police got to the scene first, TVFR said. They described it as a “very busy and chaotic scene.”

KOIN 6 News will have more information as it develops.
