Prior to the parade kick-off, traffic will be periodically allowed to cross River Road at Chemawa Road.

The Keizer Holiday Lights parade will begin at 7 p.m. and travel south on River Road from Lockhaven Drive. The parade will end at the intersection of River Road and Glynbrook Street North.

The theme for the popular annual parade is “March of the Toys,” and the parade, which is free to attend, will feature lighted entries from local businesses, car clubs, marching bands, fire departments and civic groups.

River Road is expected to re-open at about 9 p.m. as the parade proceeds south along River Road.

Parade signs advising of the street closure have been posted on River Road to remind residents of the closure.
