Oregon State tight end Luke Musgrave declared for the NFL draft on Tuesday.
On Twitter, Musgrave wrote: “It has always been a dream of mine to play in the NFL, and after careful consideration, with my family, I have chosen to forgo my final year of eligibility and declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.”
Musgrave played in just two games this season, missing the past 10 games with an injury he suffered Sept. 10 in the No. 17 Beavers’ 35-32 win at Mountain West Conference champion Fresno State.
Musgrave had 11 catches for 169 yards and a touchdown this season.
In his 34 career games for Oregon State, Musgrave had 47 catches for 633 yards and two touchdowns.
Musgrave will try to become the Beavers’ second tight end taken in the NFL draft in as many years — Sprague graduate Teagan Quitoriano was taken by the Houston Texans in the 2022 NFL draft.
