With less than a week until the early signing day, Oregon State’s football team just landed a big piece to the 2023 class.
Nikko Taylor, the highest rated junior college defensive end in the nation according to 247Sports.com, committed Friday to the Beavers.
With signing day set for Wednesday, Oregon State now has 19 verbal commitments in their 2023 recruiting class, which ranks sixth in the Pac-12, according to 247Sports.
Taylor played for Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.
Taylor is a 6-foot-6, 245-pound edge rusher who is rated No. 1 in the nation among junior college players at his position, and No. 14 among all junior college players.
No. 17 Oregon State will face Florida at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Beavers enter the game with a 9-3 overall record.
