Oregon State capped a tremendous season with a bowl victory over an SEC team.

The No. 17 Beavers beat Florida 30-3 on Saturday in the Las Vegas Bowl to finish with their first 10-win season since 2006.

Oregon State dominated the game defensively, holding the Gators to 219 total yards.

Florida was missing key players for various reasons and were down to their third-string quarterback, Jack Miller III.

However, the Beavers played well defensively all season, and this was a good statement by them against a team from the nation’s best conference.

Offensively, Oregon State played well considering they were without two of their top receivers, Tre’Shaun Harrison and West Salem graduate Anthony Gould.

The Beavers also lost leading running back Damien Martinez early in the game to injury.
