Oregon State has added a third player through the transfer portal, this time an experienced veteran who could significantly help the defensive front seven.
Edge rusher Oluwaseyi Omotosho, from Wyoming, announced Friday on Twitter his intention to sign with the Beavers after having entered the portal.
Omotosho was seventh on the Cowboys this season with 46 tackles, including 7.5 tackles for a loss. He also was second on the team with 6.5 sacks.
Omotosho is the third player Oregon State has added through the portal, joining former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei and former Nevada offensive tackle Grant Starck.
Omotosho also is the second edge rusher to transfer to the Beavers this offseason, joining Nikko Taylor, the highest-rated junior college edge rusher in the nation. Taylor transferred from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.
No. 17 Oregon State is coming off a 10-3 season in which they beat Florida in the Las Vegas Bowl.
