
Salem Fire is responding to a house fire in South Salem, according to Deputy Chief Brian Carrara.
The fire appeared to have started around 1 p.m. Friday. No injuries have been reported. Smoke could be seen coming from the house.

It was not immediately clear how the fire started. One person was in the home at the time but managed to get out with two dogs.
The house is located near the Office Depot and Panera Bread in South Salem.
At least 14 fire and emergency vehicles were responding to the fire as well as Salem Police.
