I guess if you go out on a Saturday afternoon and perform to the level that the Oregon Ducks did against UCLA, then you’re going to get some recognition.

Led by the spectacular coaching from Dan Lanning and the stellar play from Bo Nix, the Ducks dismantled the Bruins in a top-10 matchup that made waves in the Pac-12 over the weekend.

Nix finished the day with almost as many touchdowns (5) as incompletions (6) for the day, and Lanning went toe to toe with Chip Kelly, one of the more revered coaches in college football, and out-schemed him, putting up almost 600 total yards of offense and scoring 40-plus points for the sixth-consecutive week.

All of that resulted in both Nix and Lanning being ranked among the top-performing coaches and players, according to ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit, who was in Eugene for College GameDay on Saturday morning. Check out how high he ranked the Duck duo:
