Rylee Troutman, Corban volleyball

Corban University’s Rylee Troutman has been named the 2022 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Attacker of the Year.

The sophomore outside hitter capped a historic season with 564 kills – the fourth highest in the NAIA. She averaged 4.24 kills per set (the fifth highest in the nation) and accounted for 629 points on the season.

Troutman help lead Corban’s women’s volleyball team to the championship match for the first time in program history where they fell to Jamestown.

Senior outside hitter Avari Ridgway and Troutman earned NAIA First Team All-American honors.

“This is such a well-deserved honor for both of these young ladies,” Warriors’ head coach Kim McLain told Corban Athletics. “They have both done so much for this program and their teammates over the course of this season, so it’s so great to see them recognized for their hard work!”
